The Golden Rule: Don't Be a Dick
Seriously, that's it. Treat other users with respect. Don't spam. Don't submit fake routes. Don't abuse the platform. If you wouldn't want someone doing it to you, don't do it here.
This is a Benevolent Dictatorship
Pub Crawls is run by one person (me, Phyl) who makes the final decisions. If you don't like a moderation decision, you can appeal, but ultimately my word is final. I promise to be fair, but I also promise to be decisive.
What You Can Do
- Submit pub crawl routes across the UK
- Add pubs to the database (accurately, please)
- Rate and comment on routes
- Edit pub information to keep it current
- Report inappropriate content
What You Can't Do
- Submit fake routes or pubs
- Post offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content
- Spam the platform with commercial promotion
- Harass other users in comments
- Deliberately vandalize pub data
- Scrape the site without permission
- Impersonate other users or pubs
Content You Submit
When you submit a route or add pub information, you're agreeing that:
- The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- You're not violating anyone's copyright or privacy
- The content can be displayed publicly on Pub Crawls
- Other users can view and comment on your routes
- We can moderate, edit, or remove content if needed
Moderation
All submitted routes are reviewed before going live. I check for:
- Accuracy and legitimacy
- Appropriate content
- Useful information for other users
If your route is rejected, you'll get a reason. Fix the issues and resubmit.
User Accounts
You're responsible for your account security. Don't share your password. If someone uses your account, that's on you. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
Liability
Use this site at your own risk. We provide pub crawl suggestions, not guarantees. Pubs close, change ownership, stop serving cask ale, become inaccessible, or turn into vegan cafes. Always verify current information before visiting.
Drink responsibly. Plan your transport. Know your limits. Don't be that person.
Accessibility Information
We take accessibility data seriously because it matters. If you're updating pub information, please be accurate about step-free access, accessible toilets, and wheelchair-friendly layouts. People rely on this information.
Changes to These Terms
I can update these terms whenever needed. Continued use means you accept the changes. Major changes will be announced on the site.
Termination
I can terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. You can delete your account anytime through your profile settings (feature coming soon).
Disputes
If you have an issue, email me first: admin@pubcrawls.uk. Let's try to work it out like adults. These terms are governed by UK law.
The Fine Print
This site is provided "as is" without warranties. We're not liable for any damages from using (or not being able to use) the site. This includes but isn't limited to: missed pub visits, bad beer, getting lost, hangovers, or disappointment.
